A WordPress speed optimization service that starts with a full PageSpeed and Core Web Vitals audit, then fixes what matters: images, scripts, caching, CDN and hosting. Every change is measured before and after, so a “Core Web Vitals assessment failed” warning turns into a pass you can see.

High-traffic training platform: the WordPress stack overhauled (caching, CDN, images, database queries). Load time dropped by 40% and Core Web Vitals went green.
What the speed work fixes.
- 01
A proper audit first
PageSpeed Insights, GTmetrix and the Chrome DevTools Performance panel, to find what’s actually slowing the site down.
- 02
Images
WebP conversion, correct sizes for each slot, lazy loading below the fold and a preloaded hero image.
- 03
Scripts and page builders
Render-blocking and unused scripts removed or deferred, including page-builder bundles loaded on pages that don’t need them.
- 04
Caching and CDN
Full-page caching, minified CSS and JS, browser caching headers and a CDN edge close to your visitors.
- 05
Fonts and layout shift
Self-hosted fonts, image dimensions and stable banners, so text appears sooner and the page stops jumping.
- 06
Before-and-after report
Scores and Core Web Vitals measured before and after each fix, so the result is on record.
Strategy first, code second.
Each stage is signed off before the next one starts, so there are no surprises at launch.

What clients say.
“Our course platform needed to handle serious traffic without slowing down. Mohtsham overhauled the entire WordPress stack — caching, CDN, image optimization, database queries. Load time dropped by 40% and Core Web Vitals went green across the board.”
“Mohtsham built our WordPress site completely from scratch — no page builders, no bloat. The difference in speed was immediate. PageSpeed went from 54 to 94 and our enquiry rate doubled within the first month. Couldn't ask for more.”
Common questions.
How much does WordPress speed optimisation cost?
A performance audit and fix typically costs NZD $600–$1,800 and takes 1–2 weeks. The free audit below tells you what needs fixing before you spend anything.
Why does my site say “Core Web Vitals assessment failed”?
One of the three metrics is in the poor range for real visitors: Largest Contentful Paint (usually a heavy hero image), Cumulative Layout Shift (images without dimensions or late fonts) or Interaction to Next Paint (too much JavaScript, often from a page builder). The audit shows which one, and the fixes target it.
Can you speed up my existing WordPress site?
Yes. I audit Core Web Vitals and PageSpeed first, then fix images, scripts, caching and hosting, and report the before-and-after scores.
Do I need a new website to make it fast?
Not usually. Fixes are done in order of impact, biggest first. When a heavy page builder is the root cause, as it was on the Snowden Electrical site, rebuilding the theme can be the biggest single win, and I’ll tell you if that’s the case.
Will a faster site help my Google rankings?
It helps. After the speed work, Snowden Electrical moved from page 3 to page 1 for “electrician Auckland” within six weeks, helped by the Core Web Vitals gains and schema markup added during the rebuild.
